The Role:

Athena is looking for a Program Coordinator to join its growing team. The successful candidate must have excellent research skills, strong organizational and time management skills, a strategic business outlook and be very detail oriented and self-motivated. The successful candidate will comfortably spend time working in conjunction with the marketing, communications and analytics teams while providing insight to overall program productivity. This candidate will have the opportunity to work closely on extensive, high-profile projects.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Program Director with following key deliverables:
  • Track and maintain all components of extensive projects
  • Interface with senior executives on matters that require diplomacy and discretion
  • Develop systems to assist with organization and execution of ongoing initiatives
  • Maintain and deliver regular communications and reporting
  • Work closely with teams to ensure findings are appropriate
  • Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Multi-task on projects and initiatives
  • Assist in preparing presentations surrounding project progress
  • Ensure high quality and consistent deliverables are produced
  • Conduct both quantitative and qualitative research
  • Contribute to reaching organizational goals by being flexible and working in a team environment
  • Travel up to 50% of the time

Education, Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • 3 – 5 years of professional experience
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent discretionary skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate information efficiently and effectively (written and verbal)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent research skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint user
