The Role:

Athena is looking for a research/marketing analyst to join its growing data team. The successful candidate must have excellent research skills, incredible writing and communication skills, strong time management skills and be very detail oriented and self-motivated. In this role, the successful candidate will work on projects with varying tasks such as: assisting in event coordination, reporting on event activations, copy editing, PowerPoint presentations, social media analysis and more. . .

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct both quantitative and qualitative research
  • Work closely with communications team to ensure findings are appropriate
  • Work in tandem with managers to ensure deliverables are met and presentations are buttoned up
  • Meet tight deadlines and multi-task on projects and initiatives
  • Work autonomously in meeting deadlines
  • Assist in preparing presentations surrounding research efforts
  • Work collaboratively on event activations
  • Ensure high quality and consistent results are produced
  • Develop systems and identify tools to assist with ongoing initiatives (Google alerts, etc.)
  • Contribute to reaching organizational goals by being flexible and working in a team environment

Education, Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • 1 year of professional experience (internship experience will be considered)
  • Excellent research skills
  • Highly detailed and organized
  • Self-motivated
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to efficiently communicate information
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint user
  • Knowledge of basic database principles (preferred)
